Upgrade Cooling Fan Kit
For APC Battery Back Up and Surge Protector
Fits: Model #: BX900R may fit others
Will work with any Battery Backup with a internal fan that is 24VDC
and dimensions of cooling fan are 40mm square x 10.5mm wide!
Purpose of this Kit: To quiet a Noisy Battery backup
If you hear noises from the battery backup this is the only moving component in this unit.
This should fix the problem. If you let it go too long eventually it overheats and damages the Battery backup!
Kit Comes with:
1 - NEW Fan
24VDC - Brushless ball bearing, for very long life. ( Life Expectancy: 60000 hrs @ 45°C )
Wires are stripped and ready to be connected!
2 - NEW Reusable wire connectors
(LEVER-NUTS rated for up to 600V/20A and temp: Up to 105C )
3 - NEW Fan Mounting Screws (4 of)
(Longer screws needed to Mount Fan)
Not included:
connector from your original fan.
This connector will need to cut off original fan and wire insulation stripped off to put in the LEVER-NUTS.
Basic Instructions are included with the kit!
